Bruce Arians a Top-10 coach in NFL, says Pete Prisco

After two Coach of the Year awards, he is gaining ground in terms of respect.

Offseason lists! We love them...well, people who read on the Internet do. CBS Sports' Pete Prisco writes the latest, ranking the head coaches in the NFL, as the owners meetings just finished up this week. Based on his rankings, Bruce Arians is one of the best.

Prisco has Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll as the top two, but Arians isn't far behind. He is eighth, just behind Sean Payton and just ahead of Andy Reid.

In two seasons with the Cardinals, Arians is 21-11 and has been to the postseason once, that coming last season. But he also led the Colts to a 9-3 record when he took over for Chuck Pagano in 2012 when Pagano was battling leukemia. Arians has been voted Coach of the Year twice in his three seasons -- winning when he was interim coach in 2012.

The other coaches ahead of BA? There is Mike McCarthy, Tom Coughlin, John Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin.

That list is a respectable one. You should notice something -- all those coaches have rings. The other coaches? They don't.

Essentially, Prisco is saying that Arians is the best coach in the league without a championship.

Would you agree?
