The Arizona Cardinals are going to look at defensive linemen this offseason with Darnell Dockett gone and Dan Williams expected to land with another team as a free agent. One player reportedly drawing interest by the Cardinals was defensive lineman Stephen Paea, but it appears he will be headed elsewhere.
According to a report by Ian Rapoport, Paea is going to sign with the Washington Redskins. He had "been on Washington's radar for weeks."
This news could also affect the Cardinals in other ways. Washington was also supposedly quite interested in Dan Williams, who is a Cardinals free agent. Will they still be as interested after signing Paea?
Paeahas 12 career sacks, but had six alone last season, along to go with two forced fumbles and 33 tackles.
He played in two thirds of Chicago's defensive snaps.
He is not known for his run stopping ability.
If the Cardinals are really looking to add to the defensive line, where do they look now?
