2015 NFL mock draft: P.J. Williams in the 2nd round for Arizona Cardinals?

My 2nd round pick in the writers mock draft is revealed.

Melina Vastola-USA TODAY Sports

The other day I posted about the players available in the SB Nation blogger mock draft. I had already made my selection. On Thursday, the pick was published. I decided to go with the "best player available" in cornerback P.J. Williams.

Yes, I know he has had some issues off the field. However, he does fill a need and he is a first round talent. Some feel he is could be develop into the best corner of the draft. He plays press man the best, which would potentially give the Cardinals the same skillset and they had last season with Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie.

Dan Kadar liked the pick, and the reader poll so far is giving the pick mostly As.

From Kadar:

This is a pick that is a necessity, and one that happens to be a steal. Williams has legitimate first-round talent, but we could very well see him slide this far in the draft. He's an experienced man coverage cornerback and at Florida State was often tasked with the opposing team's best receiver. If you can make sure he's stay on the straight and narrow, you have a long-term starter and what should quickly be one of the best cornerback duos in the league.

What do you think of the pick?
