2015 NFL Draft rumors: UCLA LB Eric Kendricks reportedly in the mix for Arizona Cardinals in Round 1

Well, we now have it. There are some rumors flying about who will be drafting whom. Although not from well known national media outlets, there is a rumor about the Arizona Cardinals. According to The Football Guys' Scott Bischoff, the Cardinals are going to take UCLA linebacker Eric Kendricks.

Draft Insider's Tony Pauline was reportedly able to confirm this report, but said Kendricks "is in the mix" for the 24th pick.

Kendricks does fill a need for the Cardinals. One of the team's biggest needs this offseason is to add speed to the middle of the field and add coverage ability. Kendricks is a playmaker in space, who is known for playing well in coverage.

He is a high character guy who was a defensive captain at UCLA. he checks off a lot of boxes in terms of the type of guy the Cardinals like to draft.

Some would consider Kendricks a reach with the 24th pick, but many early mock drafts had him landing with the Cardinals.
