NFL preseason schedule: Arizona Cardinals to play all AFC West, get Oakland Raiders in prime time

The Cardinals know who will be their preseason opponents.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The moment is here! The Arizona Cardinals 2015 preseason schedule is out. The Cardinals will play on Sunday Night Football again this preseason, visiting the Oakland Raiders for the third preseason game, the game when starters typically play the longest.

A preseason tradition continues, too. The Cardinals will conclude the preseason against the Denver Broncos, something they have done 10 of the last 12 years.

Arizona will play its entire preseason schedule against the AFC West.

The Cardinals will open their 10th season at University of Phoenix Stadium in week 1 of the preseason against Kansas City. It will be the Cardinals 24th preseason matchup against Kansas City but the first in Arizona since 1995.

The Cards remain at home the following week when they host San Diego. The Chargers will make their fifth preseason visit to University of Phoenix Stadium since it opened (2006) and it will mark the sixth time in the past nine seasons the Cardinals have played San Diego in the preseason.

The Cards will hit the road for their final two preseason matchups including the previously mentioned Sunday Night Football game against the Raiders in week 3. Arizona wraps up the preseason by traveling to Denver where they will play the Broncos in the preseason finale.

The 2015 regular season schedule is expected to be announced later this month. It includes Cardinals home games against the Packers, Vikings, Ravens, Bengals and Saints in addition to the normal divisional contests against the Rams, Seahawks and 49ers
