Another list! Just what the offseason needs. This one ranks the running backs all 32 NFL teams have as a collective group. As you can imagine, the running backs of the Arizona Cardinals were ranked quite low.
How low? 27th
And the truth is....it makes sense. Andre Ellington struggles in the running game. He is coming off a season that was cut off prematurely with a series of injuries. Stepfan Taylor has not been anything but a reliable guy to have on your team
David Johnson is a rookie. Kerwynn Williams had a good couple of games. Marion Grice was slow to develop in the playbook.
Oh, and there was the fact the team was second-to-last in rush defense last tine
The sad thing, though, is the fact the Cardinals are listed, but don't even get mentioned in the "analysis".
But while there is talent there in the room, it hasn't proven anything yet.
If the Cardinals are to get more respect, the running backs will have to come out and make a splash in 2015.
