2015 NFL odds: Odds say take the over for the Arizona Cardinals

Bovada released the NFL win totals for the upcoming 2015 season and that means it is time to place our early bets. What does Vegas think of the Arizona Cardinals?

Vegas has set the over/under for the Cardinals at 8.5 wins. It happens to be the second highest win total set by Vegas in the NFC West. The Seattle Seahawks are tops with 11. The St. Louis Rams are given eight. The San Francisco 49ers are set at 7.5.

Now, before you go crazy about disrespect about how the Cardinals have won 21 games in their last two seasons and should get a higher total, remember Vegas' goal here is to get as close as is possible to an even amount of money on both the over and the under. 19 of the 32 teams in the league are set between seven and nine games.

The thing that might interest you more is the fact that Vegas favors the over. You get even odds betting the under, but the over is -130, meaning you have to wager $130 to win $100.

So while the over/under might be low, there is some respect there.
