Arizona Cardinals give tribute to fans in video

If you have been a fan for at least a little while, this will give you chills.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

You might have seen it floating around on social media, but the Arizona Cardinals put together a fantastic video about "Our State of Football," describing how this has become a football town.

The truth is the Phoenix area has always been a football town. It just wasn't a Cardinals town. Thanks to a stadium, some success and a generation growing up with a local team, it appears we have finally reached that critical mass to transform a fan base.

It always helps the team has been quite good for two years and there is real championship buzz being felt (even if it is not felt outside the local fanbase). It isn't the hope Cardinals fans felt every single year where maybe the team could be good. This is a hope that a team we know is competitive could have postseason success.

The video touches on history, memories and legendary Cardinals moments and players.

Get ready for some chills. You will love it. If your computer does not have Facebook posts blocked (that is the case for me when I am at work), you can watch the video embedded below. If you can't see it, here is the direct link.

From Green to Fitzgerald...Warner to Palmer...Tillman, Wilson and Mathieu. From the End-Zonies to the Red Sea. Our history runs deep in Arizona. It's our "State of Football".
