The NFL announced the seven players who are eligible for next week's 2015 NFL Supplemental Draft. Teams will have the opportunity to select or pass on them next week on July 9.
Who are the seven?
They include:
- Clemson OT Isaiah Battle (considered the top prospect and might get selected)
- West Georgia DT Dalvon Stuckey
- West Georgia DE Darrius Caldwell
- Houston DE Eric Eiland
- UConn TE Sean McQuillan
- Kansas DB Kevin Short
- North Carolina Central WR Adrian Wilkins
The Arizona Cardinals have done some homework on some of these players. Aaron Wilson reported the Cardinals were one of the many teams in attendance at West Georgia's Pro Day, where Stuckey and Caldwell tried to show off their skills.
No one has been selected in the Supplemental Draft since 2012, when Josh Gordon was drafted by the Browns. The Cardinals last used a pick in the Supplemental Draft in 1989, when they used a first round pick to select quarterback Timm Rosenbach. His story is a sad one for Cardinals fans.
