32 is a very popular number these days. It belongs to safety Tyrann Mathieu, one of the most popular players on the team.
In previous years, running back Edgerrin James wore it. He did from 2006-2008.
But the man at 32 was Ottis Anderson, the franchise's all-time leading rusher. He was No. 32 from 1979-1986. He had 7999 yards rushing as a Cardinal and was a Pro Bowler his first two seasons and a 1st team All-Pro as a rookie, when he rushed for over 1600 yards.
He then would go to the Giants and win Super Bowls.
