The first real fake football game of the 2015 season is on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs. There is a list of players who will not play. Bruce Arians shared this with the media on Thursday, as Friday the players get a day off and there is no media access.
Here are the 11 players:
- WR Michael Floyd
- OT Rob Crisp
- RB Marion Grice
- RB David Johnson
- CB Darren Woodard
- CB Jonte Green
- ILB Darryl Sharpton
- OLB Zack Wagenmann
- OLB Shaq Riddick
- ILB Sean Weatherspoon
- S Chris Clemons.
The other important tidbit about Saturday's game is the quarterback playing time. Arians said starter Carson Palmer will play exactly one series, along with the rest of the starters, no matter if it is one play or 10. After that, Drew Stanton will play the rest of the first quarter. Logan Thomas will play the second and third quarters and Phillip Sims will get the final quarter.
