2015 NFL training camp: Arizona Cardinals injury updates

After just one practice, there are a few who will miss Sunday's practice.

The Arizona Cardinals enter Sunday's practice with a few injured players. There are two players who simply cannot practice yet because of their designation -- tight end Jermaine Gresham being on PUP and tight end Troy Niklas being on the NFI list -- but there are three who will not practice, per head coach Bruce Arians.

Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, who left Saturday's practice early with a hamstring injury, will not practice Sunday. Arians said he should be back Monday, joking Weatherspoon just wanted to be fresh for when pads go on Monday. He is "a wily veteran."

Rookie outside linebacker Shaq Riddick, who missed almost all of OTAs and mini-camp with a hamstring problem, reaggravated it on Saturday.

Inside linebacker Darryl Sharpton has a hip flexor, but it is not serious. He will not practice, though.

Arians did not mention tight end Darren Fells, who suffered cramps in Saturday's practice. Presumably, that means he should be good to go.
