It is time for some preseason football. The Arizona Cardinals play the San Diego Chargers at home. The starters will play about one quarter, but a couple of Chargers will not play.
Quarterback Philip Rivers and first round running back Melvin Gordon are not expected to play.
For the Cardinals, the one player who might have played was running back Chris Johnson, but he hurt his leg on Thursday. He will not play and his exact injury is unknown.
Also expected not to play are Michael Floyd, Jonte Green, Shaq Riddick, Sean Weatherspoon, Rob Crisp and Mike Iupati.
There are a few things to watch for -- the starters and whether they can be as effective in an entire quarter as they were in one series last week, how David Johnson looks, whether Logan Thomas can put together two effective appearances and more.
