Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Well, the first half is in the books and the score is tied at 9 between the Arizona Cardinals and San Diego Chargers.

It looks like there were no touchdowns, but both teams scored one. The Cards fumbled the snap on the PAT and the Chargers just missed the kick, as it hit the upright.

The starters for the Cardinals played well, especially on defense, but the story has been David Johnson and sacks. The third rounder had 66 yards on 13 carries in the first half, two catches for 15 and a magnificent stiffarm and then leap on one play.

The San Diego pass rush has gotten to the Arizona quarterbacks. Carson Palmer was sacked twice and Drew Stanton was taken down four times. He was also intercepted once.

Palmer hit John Brown for a touchdown and Branden Oliver ran then ball into the end zone for the Chargers.

Time to enjoy the second half. Now it should be Logan Thomas time.
