Cardinals vs. Bears prediction: Madden 16 sim has Chicago rolling over Arizona 35-21 with 4 Cutler TDs

Let's hope it doesn't go this way.

Among the weekly previews and predictions, we do game simulations with Madden 16. Some of you like it, while others do not. It is simply a way to see scenarios. You won't like if this is how the game plays out.

I made Andre Ellington out for the Cardinals (Mike Iupati already is) and I took Alshon Jeffery and Pernell McPhee out for the Bears. It didn't matter.

In this simulation, the Bears roll to a 35-21 win over the Cardinals.

Chandler Catanzaro misses a 51-yard field goal in Arizona's first possession and then there are several punts. The Cardinals get on the board first early in the second quarter, taking a 3-0 lead on a Catanzaro 35-yard field goal.

That would be the last lead the Cardinals have.

Chicago would answer with a touchdown pass from Jay Cutler to tight end Martellus Bennett to take a 7-3 lead.

Arizona would score on a 48-yard Catanzaro field goal on the next possession, but he would miss from 52 yards later in the second quarter. The half would end 7-6 Chicago.

In the third quarter, a familiar tight end -- Zach Miller -- would have his only catch of the day and score a four-yard touchdown to make it 14-6 and after a Cardinals punt, Jay Cutler would hit Marquess WIlson for a touchdown pass to extend the lead to 21-6.

Arizona would finally answer with a touchdown drive, Chris Johnson punching it in from one yard out. Then they would force a Bears punt. However, Shea McClellan would pick off a Carson Palmer pass on Arizona's next possession and Cutler would find Eddie Royal for a touchdown. 28-13 was the score.

Deone Bucannon would give Cardinals life, picking off Jay Cutler and returning the interception 34 yards, but the Cardinals would turn the ball over on downs in the red zone and then, on the very next play, Matt Forte would break off an 88-yard touchdown run, extending the lead to 35-13.

Apparently Carson Palmer gets hurt briefly because Drew Stanton came in the game and completed a pass and then he left, giving Matt Barkley a brief stint in a series, but Palmer would return to lead the Cardinals to one last scoring drive, finding Jaron Brown for a score and hitting Jermaine Gresham with the two-point attempt.

Arizona would not recover the ensuing onside kick and neither team scored again.

This would not be the way the Cardinals want to play in Chicago. It was a disaster, even without Jeffery.

Stats:

Passing: Carson Palmer 32/55 for 372 yards,  1TD, 1INT; Jay Cutler 18/36 for 177, 4 TDs, 1 INT

Rushing: Chris Johnson 21 carries for 62 yards and a score; Matt Forte 27 carries for 215 yards and a score.

Receiving: Larry Fitzgerald 8 for 146, Michael Floyd 7 for 76, John Brown 3 for 39; John Bellamy 5 for 71, Eddie Royal 4 for 61 and a score, Martellus Bennett 2 for 4 and a score

Defense:

Carson Palmer was sacked three times.

Arizona sacked Jay Cutler four times. Kevin Minter, Alex Okafor and Frostee Rucker each had one, while Calais Campbell and Tony Jefferson shared one.

Will Madden be right?
