Tuesday was the deadline to get NFL rosters down to 75 players. Tuesday night was the night Revenge of the Birds Radio recorded another episode. In the All Cardinals weekly episode I host with Seth Cox, it was all about the moves the Arizona Cardinals made to trim down their roster and what stood out in Sunday's preseason win.

Seth and I went over the 12 roster moves and what they meant. Who were surprises and why did they let go of two veteran players, both having been team captains for Arizona. We discussed Glenn Carson's quiet disappearance from the team and a couple of other situations where a veteran player who is making a decent amount of money will very possibly be one of the final casualties this weekend when teams must get their rosters down to 53.

Then we talked about the game and how it appears everyone's expectations have come down a bit after watching the first team offense struggle and the offensive line play poorly, at least according to the eye test when watching live.

What about the battle between Logan Thomas and Phillip Sims? I told people to stop comparing him to Russell Wilson or Robert Griffin.

The end of the show was about what we want to see on Thursday in the preseason finale.
