With the Week 3 game against the 49ers coming up this week, it is always nice to get some perspective about the opposing team from someone who covers the team. After two weeks without being able to get a guest on to preview games, I was finally able to pin down David Fucillo (Fooch, as he is known throughout SB Nation) from Niners Nation and have him come on as a guest on Revenge of the Birds Radio.
Fooch spent a good half hour talking to me about the 49ers, the offseason, their surprising win in Week 1 over the Minnesota Vikings, the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 and then how the Cards and the Niners might match up.
We talked about Colin Kaepernick's development, Jim Tomsula and NaVorro Bowman. I even asked him his prediction about whether the Niners could over or not on Sunday.
