Arizona Cardinals Release Zac Dysert, Sign Martin Wallace to Practice Squad

NFL: Preseason-Denver Broncos at Chicago Bears Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals continue to churn their practice squad, and after wondering how two quarterbacks would get reps on the practice squad, they now have zero quarterbacks on their practice squad.

Dysert was active for one game in his Arizona Cardinals career and did not see any snaps. After that, he was released from team. He could, in theory be re-signed to the practice squad, so we will keep an eye out for that.

In a corresponding move, the Arizona Cardinals have signed guard Martin Wallace to the practice squad.

Wallace was a rookie free agent out of Temple in 2013, and has spent part of seasons with Cleveland, Carolina, Tampa Bay and Chicago.

He spent time on the active roster with the Browns, but has been on the practice squad the rest of his career.

Clearly the Cardinals are concerned with the depth at the guard position, to give up on a quarterback.
