The Arizona Cardinals quarterback is out of the NFL concussion protocol.

The long Arizona Cardinals fan nightmare is over, as Carson Palmer has been cleared and is out of the concussion protocol, meaning he should be good to start the Arizona Cardinals Monday Night Football tilt against the New York Jets.

This comes as a great relief to many fans, who were afraid that they would be getting week two of the Drew Stanton experience.

The Jets have a good defensive front, and did a nice job of containing Le’Veon Bell on the ground, Bell finished with 66 yards on 20 carries, but he also had nine catches for 88 yards.

But this game could be the one that see’s the deep pass get working again, as the Jets were completely thrashed through the air, giving up 380 yards and four touchdowns to the Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger.

Anyway you slice it, fans will be happy to see Carson Palmer back there slinging it for the Arizona Cardinals, especially after the debacle of their last nationally televised game. Maybe ESPN Monday Night Football won’t get the lowest ratings in their history again.

Also, Kevin Minter was quickly out of the concussion protocol and should be good for Monday.
