Week 8 NFL Power Rankings: Can Anyone Stop the New England Patriots?

The Patriots are great, the Vikings finally lose, and what to make of the Seahawks/Cardinals fiasco.

NFL: New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

What a wild NFL weekend, but here we are in week eight and the only thing we “know” is that New England is really freaking good.

Outside of that, we know the Minnesota Vikings are good, but they just lost to the Philadelphia Eagles and rookie quarterback Carson Wentz.

The Cardinals and Seahawks.... What the hell?

  1. New England Patriots: This team is just phenomenal to watch play football. It has been so much fun to see them not play Arizona anymore.
  2. Dallas Cowboys: Move up on their bye week. I can’t wait to see this NFC East showdown next week between the Cowboys and Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
  3. Minnesota Vikings: What a weird week for them to come off a bye and look awful. Yet, they have a great defense, and we have seen more than enough to be more than just a contender.
  4. Seattle Seahawks: What a terrible offensive performance. What a phenomenal defensive performance.
  5. Kansas City Chiefs: They have been on quite the roll since their awful opening day. They just got Justin Houston back too and have not even really reintroduced Jamaal Charles. So maybe they are going to be even better.
  6. Atlanta Falcons: I want to put them lower after this loss.
  7. Denver Broncos: The defense, it is still special.
  8. Philadelphia Eagles: What do you make of this team? Their quarterback struggled early, but their defense was lights out. How good are they?
  9. Green Bay Packers: Are they back? Did they just take advantage of a terrible Bears team? Both? Neither?
  10. Oakland Raiders: What a performance on the road by a young team finding their way.
  11. Buffalo Bills: Get healthy... Get healthy.
  12. Arizona Cardinals: Are they good? Where is the offense? The defense looks phenomenal, great work.
