The Carolina Panthers are struggling at 1-5, but things can be worse, and after today’s announcements of injuries, they may be.
The Carolina Panthers announced that rookie defensive tackle Vernon Butler (ankle) and veteran left tackle Michael Oher (concussion) are both out for Sunday mornings game with the Arizona Cardinals. It is a big blow to the Panthers struggling offensive line, but Butler is just a bad beat, much like Robert Nkemdiche, as he is just not getting the reps he needs in order to get better and on the field for the Panthers.

The cornerbacks and Kony Ealy are all important pieces that could help a disastrous Panthers pass defense, especially with the Arizona Cardinals looking to get back on track in their passing game.
For the Cardinals, this could be the breakout game they have been waiting for and even if it is against a 1-5 Panthers team with a litany of important players missing, it would still be huge for the immediate future of the team, especially heading into the bye week.
