With the Arizona Cardinals dealing with a cavalcade injuries they have made at least one move in preparation for their Thursday Night Football Game.
Cardinals have re-signed RB Kerwynn Williams, according to his agent @MRHoffy. Chris Johnson hurt his groin yesterday.

This is interesting on two fronts.
- Most Arizona Cardinals fans were convinced that Kerwynn Williams would get scooped up because of his past performances. Clearly that didn't happen as he is still available five weeka into the regular season.
- Elijhaa Penny is obviously not ready. He is still on the Cardinals practice squad, but the Cardinals, on a short week in a desperate situatuon preferred Williams to Penny.
Maybe they are worried about trying to get Penny back on the practice squad, as Johnson should be back this year, and the player taking his spot is likely to be let go.
Anyways, congratulations to Williams on being brought back, hopefully it is for the season, or he at least shows enough to catch on somewhere else in the NFL.
