There is a bevy of nice games this weekend in college football, but there are not too many “marquee games”.
However, there will be a lot of good games to gauge some prospects, and that started on Thursday, with North Carolina quarterback struggling at times, and let’s be honest, now that Mitch Trubisky is Mel Kiper’s QB1, he’s under the microscope.
Mel Kiper Jr. has Trubisky as the top-rated QB on his latest Big Board. https://t.co/dG2G4MdZsW— Andrea Adelson (@aadelsonESPN) November 2, 2016
If you listened to the Draft Breakdown Podcast, you would have heard about Trubisky even sooner though, as Justin was one of the first to talk about the North Carolina signal caller (shameless plug).
One thing I noticed about Trubisky. His diverse arm skills. Different angles, different motions/velocities ensuring the ball gets to spot— Hungry Pig Right (@JinxSavage) November 11, 2016
We will also get to see some good old fashion offense tomorrow, as two more intriguing quarterback prospects in Pat Mahomes and Mason Rudolph lead their teams into battle.
It should be a relatively defenseless game, so hopefully we see all the different arm abilities of both players and their diverse abilities.
The big Pac 12 matchup is USC at Washington, so enjoy the day and let us know any prospects you would like us to talk about and write about.
(I have an article on Mahomes coming this week)
