What a wild Sunday for the NFC playoff picture.
The top two seed remain the same as the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks continue to roll in the regular season.
Dallas Cowboys 9-1
Seattle Seahawks 7-2-1
The Cowboys rode a balanced attack to take down the Baltimore Ravens, now they get a Thanksgiving day matchup with the Washington Redskins, which will be huge not only in their pursuit of the top seed in the NFC, but also in making their NFC East lead even larger.
The Seahawks meanwhile took care of the Eagles, now take on the suddenly charging Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in Tampa.
Detroit Lions 6-4
Atlanta Falcons 6-4
What a difference a week makes, as the Lions, yes those Detroit Lions, sit in the three seed in the NFC after their win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now, they get a massive NFC North matchup with the Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving morning. What a way to start the day.
New York Giants 7-3
Washington Redskins 6-3-1
The NFC East is the dominant division in football... right now. The Giants took care of a bad Chicago Bears, while the Skins buried a clearly overrated and over matched Packers team.
While the Giants get the winless Browns on Sunday, well the Skins get the Cowboys for their Thanksgiving. Enjoy.
The Contenders
Minnesota Vikings 6-4
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5-5
Philadelphia Eagles 5-5
The Vikings held on against the Cardinals, now they have to take on the Lions for control of the NFC North.
Meanwhile, the Bucs get the Seahawks, to see if they are contenders or pretenders after their big win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Eagles though, well they are going to get a pissed off, but reeling Green Bay Packers team on Monday Night Football next week.
Still in It
Arizona Cardinals 4-5-1
The Cardinals are still in it, but it is a very loose interpretation after their loss to the Vikings. They get the NFC South leading Atlanta Falcons this week.
The 4-6’s
Green Bay Packers
New Orleans Saints
Carolina Panthers
Los Angeles Rams
The Panthers are the only team out of this group who seems like they really have a chance, but who knows with this NFL season.
Goodnight, Sweet Prince
Chicago Bears 2-8
San Francisco 49ers 1-9
