Arizona Cardinals fans weekend viewing and rooting guide

What games matter for the Arizona Cardinals playoff chances?

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Washington Redskins Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

While it doesn't seem like it, the Arizona Cardinals are still very much alive in the NFC playoff picture, especially after the Thanksgiving day games ended.

Both the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings dropped games, meaning the Arizona Cardinals can gain a full game on both teams if they take care of business on their end tomorrow.

There are some other good games that could help the Arizona Cardinals, so let's take a look at the viewing and rooting guide.

Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints (2)

The game to maintain a lead over these teams. Arizona gets both teams, so it doesn't matter who wins, so we cheer for the Saints.

New York Giants at Cleveland Browns (3)

It is a three because New York is one of the teams ahead of Arizona and getting a game on them just opens up another opportunity. Of course it is against the Browns, so it doesn't really matter.

Seattle Seahawks at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5)

This is tough, but we need the Seahawks to win this game. Tampa is in front of Arizona by a half game, Arizona has to finish with less losses than Tampa. So that means a cringe worthy cheer for Seattle.

Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles (5)

The Cardinals take care of Atlanta and they can leapfrog the Eagles on Monday night if the Packers get their stuff together, which seems like a tall task.

The Eagles are one team in front of Arizona, a loss for Philly and a win for Arizona, and this weekend will move Arizona all the way up to the eight seed.
