The beginning of the game looked promising for the Arizona Cardinals, they went down the field 75 yards and scored a touchdown. The second drive of the game they got inside the five, Carson Palmer missed the snap, lost 13 yards and it has been less than optimal since that time, as the Arizona Cardinals trail the Atlanta Falcons 17-13.
The defense has played well, but the Atlanta Falcons first two drives resulted in 10 points, aided by two defensive pass interference calls on Patrick Peterson, extending both drives.
Carson Palmer had good protection, but now is getting hit on nearly every drop back and the offense is having trouble finding a rhythm.
The Cardinals were able to make a big defensive play right before the half, intercepting a Matt Ryan pass that Julio Jones spoon fed to D.J. Swearinger.
It is maybe the biggest second half of the season, at least to this point.
The Arizona Cardinals are in a good spot, but need to find a way to disrupt the Falcons offense and get their offense back on track.
Let's go Cardinals!
