2017 NFL Draft Order: Arizona Cardinals just outside the top ten

Where do the Arizona Cardinals pick and who has been taken there before?

It is only week 15 and this site may be ready to turn into a 2017 NFL Draft site… which is depressing. Lucky for you, if you like that sort of thing, Revenge of the Birds will have lights out draft coverage with Justin Higdon, Blake Murphy and “Dink”. Heck, I will be contributing a little bit too.

Right now though, we will be doing the 50/50 thing, where we still keep an eye on what is going on, the playoff race and maybe, just maybe finding a way to steal a playoff berth, but also keeping things with the 2017 NFL Draft updated.

With their loss to the Miami Dolphins, the Arizona Cardinals climbed one spot, as they sit in 11th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The last decade of picks at the 11th position reveal a litany of talent.

2016: Vernon Hargreaves III, CB Tampa Bay
2015: Trae Waynes, CB Minnesota
2014: Taylor Lewan, OT Tennessee
2013: D.J. Fluker, OT San Diego
2012: Dontari Poe, DT Kansas City
2011: J.J. Watt, DT Houston
2010: Anthony Davis, OT San Francisco
2009: Aaron Maybin, Buffalo
2008: Leodis McKelvin, Buffalo
2007: Patrick Willis, San Francisco

There are quite a few talented players on this list. Obviously Watt and Willis laed the way, but Anthony Davis, Poe, Lewan and Fluker have been nice NFL players.

Avoid the Buffalo style picks and things would be okay at 11.
