The Arizona Cardinals have had a season to forget, but a couple of key players have had great individual efforts this season.
One of those great players this season from an individual standpoint has been Tony Jefferson.
In fact, Jefferson was one of seven players from an ESPN Insider article about players who are going to get paid more than you expect this off season.
From the article:
It will be interesting to see what the Arizona Cardinals want to do from a value standpoint moving forward.
Chandler Jones is probably the only player that makes sense to franchise; Calais Campbell is the Arizona Cardinals only dominant force along the defensive line. They need to probably value both of those players over a guy like Jefferson, who is a very good player, but his production can probably be replicated more than Jones or Camplbell.
On the other hand, Jefferson is the younger (than Campbell) and more consistent (than Jones), he has shown to be not just capable, but an able leader for a successful unit on defense.
It is an interesting decision the Arizona Cardinals and their staff has to make, what do you think?
