Even if it is too little too late, it was a performance that Arizona Cardinals fans and frankly the team themselves needed to see, as the Arizona Cardinals put it on the Seattle Seahawks, in Seattle.
It has not been the season we have hoped for, but in a rivalry game, against the division champions, in their house, the Arizona Cardinals defense came to play and the offense found a way to match that intensity and pull out a much needed win.
Carson Palmer was pretty good, David Johnson wasn’t bad and found his way to over 100 total yards in his 15th straight game, but it was his late catch that set the Arizona Cardinals up for a field goal to win the game for the team.
J.J. Nelson was maybe the best offensive player for the Arizona Cardinals with three catches for 132 and a touchdown.
It was a nail biter at the end though, as the defense could not get stops and let the Seahawks back in the game.
Yet, in a change of fortune Chandler Catanzaro kicked a game winning field goal and the Arizona Cardinals escaped with a 34-31 win.
The Cardinals had no timeouts, with 12 seconds left and rushed Catanzaro on the field, but this time... It didn’t matter.
Congrats to the Arizona Cardinals on a big win.
