Arizona Cardinals vs Washington Redskins second half thread

Talk about the second half as the Arizona Cardinals cling to a lead at the half

NFL: Washington Redskins at Arizona Cardinals Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

It wasn’t the way we expected it, but it doesn’t matter at this point, as the Arizona Cardinals are clinging to a 10-6 lead at halftime.

Despite a couple of missed opportunities on offense and defense, the story of the Cardinals season, they found a way to stay in the lead, with a bend but don’t break defense and an offense relying heavily on David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald.

They even found a way to sprinkle in a little more Andre Ellington, who finished with four touches for 18 yards.

Johnson has 11 carries for 36 and a touchdown to go with six catches for 52 yards.

Fitz has five catches for 59 yards.

Palmer is 13/23 for 135 yards.

The defense is struggling to stop the run, which has kept Washington in the game offensively because they have effectively shut down Kirk Cousins in the first half.
