It is mock draft season already, especially when you are picking in the top 15, even if you still have playoff aspirations.
I am going to try and do a once a week roundup of mock drafts from around the web, but feel free to throw me an email or post a FanPost if I miss a week or you see a mock I missed within the mock’s.
Here are the picks so far:
CBS Sports Rob Rang – DeShone Kizer, QB Notre Dame
CBS Sports Dane Brugler – Deshaun Watson, QB Clemson
Sports Illustrated Chris Burke – Mitch Trubisky, QB North Carolina
Bleacher Report Matt Miller – DeShone Kizer, QB Notre Dame
SB Nation Dan Kadar – John Ross, WR Washington
USA Today Draft Wire Luke Easterling – Deshaun Watson, QB Clemson
Pro Football Focus Steve Palazzolo – Sidney Jones, CB Washington
Draft Tek – JuJu Smith Schuster, WR USC
Looking over the picks… Clearly everyone thinks the Arizona Cardinals need to find an answer at quarterback long term. Most were not calling for a replacement of Palmer, just to have someone in there.
The two interesting picks were John Ross and JuJu Smith-Schuster, both talented wide receivers. Could the Cardinals draft a wide receiver, absolutely, I just don’t think Arians values a first round wide receiver enough.
I really like the Sidney Jones pick from Steve and PFF, so I think outside of the quarterbacks, that is who I would like to see.
What do you think?
