Week 14 of the NFL season and the Arizona Cardinals are in an unenviable position.
They sit in the 10th position in the NFC, and are two games behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team they completely dominated in week two, in the race for the final spot in the NFC playoffs.
There are a number of games that can help the Arizona Cardinals increase that 8% chance of a playoff berth though, and we have them here for you in the Arizona Cardinals fans rooting interest guide.
This weekends highlights.
Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles
Go Eagles!
Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars
Go Jaguars!
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Go Saints!
Atlanta Falcons at Los Angeles Rams
Go Rams!
These two games are interesting, because one of these teams, the Bucs or Falcons, are going to win the NFC South, the other will be in the running for the wildcard, barring a tie, the Cardinals tie breaker over the Bucs is useless, so the goal is for both teams to lose.
Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers
I know a lot of people still want to see the Arizona Cardinals win the division, but that seems far fetched at this point, meanwhile, the Packers sit at 6-6 and will be in a prime position to move up in the Wild Card with a win. As painful as it may be, Arizona needs the Seahawks right now. That sucks.
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
Much like cheering for the Seahawks, for Arizona Cardinals fans, cheering for the Cowboys is tough, but the Giants at 8-4 sit three games clear of the Arizona Cardinals in the Wild Card race. It may be a longshot, but seeing the Giants go down could breathe life into both Wild Card slots... Not just one.
