As we approach the start of free agency next month, we have begun to see the lists of the top free agents in the NFL. Pro Football Focus has their list of the top 75 free agents for this year. But in that list, not a single Arizona Cardinals free agent appears, which seems strange.
Arizona's top free agents will be safety Rashad Johnson, cornerback Jerraud Powers and right tackle Bobby Massie.
Johnson had five interceptions last season and four in 2014. He broke up eight passes. His tackle numbers did go down, though, as he collected 59 in 2015. He is one of the smartest players in football and his teammates think he was snubbed from the Pro Bowl.
On PFF's top 75, the safeties on the list are Eric Berry, Eric Weddle, George Iloka, Reggie Nelson, Tashaun Gipson, Husain Abdullah and Walter Thurmond. Johnson isn't on that list?
Powers was one of PFF's top graded corners in 2014.He was solid again in 2015. But he doesn't make the list either, despite the corners like Brandon Boykins, Leon Hall, Patrick Robinson and Janoris Jenkins being there.
Massie also doesn't get any love. They have Andre Smith in their top 75 and state he had a bad year. Cleveland's Mitchell Schwartz makes the list and Massie does not.
Should any of the Cardinals' top free agents have been on this list?
