2016 NFL mock draft: Quarterback of the future or pass rusher for Arizona Cardinals?

Two mocks give two different options.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

As we get closer to the actual 2016 NFL Draft, there will be more and more mock drafts. Since the first wave of free agency is done, it is especially common now. Instead of focusing on one from Dan Kadar, today let's look at a pair that project what might happen now that the Arizona Cardinals have addressed one area in the secondary and a couple of areas be re-signing players. But after free agency, not much has changed. These two say Arizona either grabs a pass rusher or their potential quarterback of the future.

Dan Kadar's latest mock for SB Nation sees the Cardinals landed Clemson's Shaq Lawson.

Arizona has been pretty quiet in free agency, so we'll see if a need up front changes before the draft. If it doesn't, the Cardinals should pounce on Lawson if he's available. The Clemson product's draft range is all over the place, but he would be at home rushing the passer for Arizona.

For NFL.com, Daniel Jeremiah has Paxton Lynch landing in the desert.

The Cardinals secure their QB of the future and he can learn behind Carson Palmer.

Lynch was not available for the Cardinals in Kadar's mock. He we off the board with the 15th pick. Lawson goes 13th in Jeremiah's.

If you had both available, which would be your pick for the Cardinals?
