2016 NFL Draft: Leonard Floyd wants to be 'the spitting image of DeMarcus Ware'

The speedy linebacker wants to dominate for a long time.

Linebacker Leonard Floyd is a player who has been connected with the Arizona Cardinals in several mock drafts. If he is in fact drafted by Arizona, they would get a player who has high hopes for himself.

As reported by to ESPN's Vaughn McClure, Floyd wants to model his game after veteran pass rusher DeMarcus Ware.

"I want to be the spitting image of DeMarcus Ware," Floyd said at his Pro Day. "He's dominant. He makes tackles look weak and scared. I just want to be able to dominate the game like he has -- for years, too."

There is a difference, though.

Floyd sees himself as more versatile. He sees himself being able to play inside linebacker and off the edge.

A knock on him is his size. He was listed at 235 pounds while at Georgia, which is very small for an edge rusher. He is now at 248 and has a goal of getting 255.

If Floyd is still available at pick No. 29 when the Cardinals would select a player, would he be a guy you would want the Cardinals to take, even with Chandler Jones?
