2016 NFL Draft: Arizona Cardinals finish offensive line with 1st round pick

Another lineman in the first is a Steve Keim thing to do.

The Arizona Cardinals have worked hard to build the offensive line over the last few seasons. They did miss with Jonathan Cooper, but have turned him in part into a young pass rusher in Chandler Jones. With that need off the table, it allows for some flexibility when it comes to the 2016 NFL Draft.

In Dan Kadar;s latest mock draft for SB Nation, he has the Cardinals wrapping up their offensive line. After signing Evan Mathis and being ready for D.J. Humphries to start at right tackle, he has the Cardinals selecting Alabama center Ryan Kelly with the 29th pick overall.

The Cardinals have made a big push this offseason by trading for pass rusher Chandler Jones, filing the team's biggest need. That leaves center as perhaps Arizona's biggest need. This might be a little early for him, but Kelly is the draft's best center. It would be smart of the Cardinals to move down in the draft and still get Kelly early in the second round.

This would be a very Cardinals pick. And it would wrap up remaking every part of the offensive line since Steve Keim became general manager.

Would you like to see Kelly in Cardinals red?
