Arizona Cardinals jersey changes, salary info and other notes from the week.

Here are some things not discussed on the site this week.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Well, we have come to the end of another week and there was a lot of information worth discussing for the Arizona Cardinals. Since I wasn't able to get a post up about all of it, here are some tidbits from the week I either missed or couldn't get to.

Jersey numbers:

New outside linebacker Chandler Jones, who wore 95 with the New England Patriots, will not wear it here. Rodney Gunter already wears it, but Jones said from arrival he wanted a new number. Plus, wearing a linebacker number would make more sense. He will wear No. 55, which Sean Weatherspoon wore a season ago.

New offensive lineman Evan Mathis will wear the number he has throughout his career -- No. 69.

Salary:

Mike Jurecki tweeted about Chris Johnson's new contract. His base salary is going to be $885,000. No word of his signing bonus and we know he can earn up to $3 million.

Salary cap:

With Chris Johnson's contract in the books, Arizona has a little more than $3.5 million in cap space remaining.

Free agency:

Ted Larsen had a visit with the Atlanta Falcons. Let's have him sign somewhere soon, right? It appears the Oakland Raiders never got past the initial interest level in Tony Jefferson.
