As we are at just under a month before the 2016 NFL Draft, there us beginning to be talk about whether the Arizona Cardinals should trade back in this year's draft. Having lost their second round pick in the trade for Chandler Jones. In the latest SB Nation mock draft by Dan Kadar, trades are a big theme. In fact, there are three trades. one involving the Arizona Cardinals.
The Rams trade up to land Carson Wentz. The Ravens drop back and land Noah Spence
The Jets trade up to get Paxton Lynch. The Dolphins take Mackensie Alexander after trading back.
The last trade is the Cardinals trading back into the second round with Cleveland. They land Shaq Lawson, while the Cardinals pick up an extra mid-round pick.
It is possible. With Paxton Lynch gone, both Mackensie Alexander and Eli Apple off the board, they might not like anyone in particular where they are at. They could have taken Lawson or teammate Kevin Dodd, but an edge rusher is no longer the priority with Jones in the fold.
