2016 NFL Draft preview podcast: Options at quarterback, running back and receiver for Arizona Cardinals

ROTB Radio talks draft.

It is NFL Draft time. Free agency has cooled down, so Seth Cox and I got together to begin the offseason's first draft podcast on Revenge of the Birds Radio. This first draft preview focuses on the offensive skill players -- quarterback, running back and wide receiver. We talk very briefly about tight ends, but it was mainly QBs, RBs and WRs.

We talk about Rashad Johnson's departure to lead the show and then hit quarterbacks for the next half hour after that.

Cardale Jones? Paxton Lynch? Connor Cook? Christian Hackenburg? Will they go with a quarterback in the first round?

Seth is good with it, but I would rather not.

We talk about Cardale Jones. Seth dismisses any notion Jones is Logan Thomas 2.0. He is a completely different prospect. I like him as a QB project and Seth gives some info he has gotten from people he knows.

After the QB talk, we shift gears to the other skill positions.

Bruce Arians wants to find another David Johnson. Seth gives us a couple of names -- C.J. Prosise and Kenyan Drake.

We also go over some receivers. I think it isn't a bad idea to draft one early. Arians wants to find a replacement for Larry Fitzgerald, and I believe he means the role he plays in the slot -- intermediate routes, play action and run blocking.

Seth says the tight end class is bad.

Listen to the show and comment about it.
