If you talk to anyone who follows the Arizona Cardinals, you will hear the biggest offseason priority is to improve the pass rush. In particular, it would haveto be at outside linebacker, as that is where the Cardinals play their edge rushers. But this isn't the first offseason they have tried to address the position.
Just last offseason, the Cardinals were in on several edge players and simply lost out.
They reported targeted Brian Orakpo, who signed with the Tennessee Titans.
They looked at Pernell McPhee, who signed with the Bears.
They had interest in Trent Cole, who joined the Colts.
They even tried to bring in Brooks Reed. He ended up signing with the Atlanta Falcons.
The one guy they did land was LaMarr Woodley, who played half the season as a starter and spent the last several weeks on injured reserve.
How active will the Cardinals be in the pass rushing free agent market? There are names out there -- Tamba Hali, Justin Pierre-Paul, Mario Williams, Chris Long and more. Where will the pass rushers land this offseason?
