2016 NFL mock draft: Arizona Cardinals go back to pass rusher, land Ogbah

The latest SB Nation mock has the Cardinals going with a name who was common for the team weeks ago.

When mock drafts first started coming out for this year's NFL Draft, the most common picks for the Arizona Cardinals were all about the pass rush. Since they traded for Chandler Jones, things opened up. But in SB Nation's latest mock draft, written by Adam Stites, Arizona is going back to the pass rushing well.

Lately, it has been cornerback and center where Arizona gets attention. Alabama's Ryan Kellly has become the most common pick to the Cardinals. In this mock, he is available and the Cardinals pass. The top cornerbacks, though, are all off the board.

Instead, the pick is the pass rushing Emmanuel Ogbah.

Like the Seahawks, the Cardinals have so many pieces in place that they have the luxury to take any player they deem the best available. Even after acquiring Chandler Jones in a trade with the Patriots, it wouldn't hurt for the Cardinals to continue to add pass rushers after Dwight Freeney led the team with eight sacks at age 35. Ogbah is an explosive athlete who has high upside as a pass rusher, but could be a liability in run defense. If he's used in a rotation, that could be a masked deficiency.

Ryan Kelly is available. Quarterback Paxton Lynch is available. Robert Nkemdiche is available. Would you have gone with Ogbah here?
