With the 2016 NFL Draft in the books, the long, dry months before training camp are usually when many players choose to settle for one-year deals with NFL organizations.
One of those Cardinal free agents who was still on the market was Cornerback Jerraud Powers; who is a free agent no more.
Per reports and the Ravens' official Twitter account, Powers has signed with Baltimore on a one-year deal.

Powers will be expected to compete for a starting role. At cornerback, the Cardinals' depth has been considered thinner by some, with Patrick Peterson, Justin Bethel and hybrid safety Tyrann Mathieu all coming off of surgery. However, the lack of Arizona signing Powers demonstrates a faith in Justin Bethel and their rookies, including 3rd round selection Brandon Williams and 6th round selection Harlan Miller.
What are your thoughts on Powers officially moving on? Should Arizona have inked him sooner or were they right to let him go?
