It took a long time, but Larry Fitzgerald did it. After declaring for the NFL Draft before he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, he finally got his college degree.

Fitzgerald graduated from University of Phoenix with a degree in communications. He also minored in marketing.
According to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss, Fitz took classes year-round and logged on all over the world, even when he was on his many international journeys.
He was the last in his family to get a college degree.
Finishing college is very difficult to do as an NFL player. The routine during the season makes it nearly impossible to do anything else. Plus, when you have earned more than $100 million, it might also be hard to see the point. But congrats to Fitz, it is something to celebrate, And when it fulfills a promise to a dying mother, it has also got to be very satisfying.
