Charles Barkley has tried to meet Bruce Arians, but can't get sit-down

Roy Green apparently isn't important enough to get him some time with the head coach.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians is a popular guy. He is loved by his players, by the fan and even by celebrities, apparently. One is Charles Barkley.

Barkley appeared on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM to talk about the NBA, and host Vince Marotta asked him about a comment he made a while back about wanting to meet Bruce Arians. Barkley still has not had the opportunity to do so. He is good friends with former Cardinals receiver Roy Green, who will enter the Ring of Honor this season,  and he is a big fan of Larry Fitzgerald

"I've been trying to meet Bruce Arians for like the last year," Barkley explained. "And I don't like to bother him during the season. Bruce Arians seems like a guy, you know I love to smoke cigars -- and I love to drink too -- I would love to go out and have a drink and smoke a cigar with B.A. I've been watching from a distance the last few years and he just seems like the best guy. I talk to Larry Fitzgerald all the time and he's like, ‘Dude, you're going to love B.A. You're going to love B.A. when you get to meet him.' Roy Green is the only person I know with the Cardinals and he's not important enough to get me a sit-down with B.A."

Arians does tend to have a busy offseason with his charity events. But Chuck can't get Fitz to hook him up? Roy Green isn't important enough?

Barkley must not be trying hard enough.

Either that or Green and Fitz just don't want him to talk to BA.
