Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians is known around the NFL as a quarterback whisperer. Now he is participating in a book called that -- The Quarterback Whisperer.
Writer Lars Anderson, who has penned several books and is a New York Times best-selling author, and now writes for Bleacher Report, will write the book, sharing authorship with Arians.
Anderson tweeted some thoughts on working with Arians after announcing the book.
Here are 10 quick thoughts on @BruceArians and why we are writing a book together ...

1). Bruce is the coolest coach I've ever spent time with. My job as a writer is to illustrate this.

1. This will be my 8th book. I've never shared authorship. The reason I'm doing this is because @BruceArians is as fascinating as they come.

2. I hung out with @BruceArians after the Cardinals beat the Bengals last fall on Sunday night. We tailgate at his car. (Continued)

2. (Continued) As we sip our drinks, an amazing thing happened: Bengal players lined up to hug BA. 20 deep. Their affection was stunning.

3. BA has been fired about, oh, 18 times. He's the ultimate underdog.
— Lars Anderson (@LarsAnderson71) May 30, 2016
4. BA is whip smart. Thing is: His wife, a lawyer, could out-debate anyone I know.
— Lars Anderson (@LarsAnderson71) May 30, 2016
5. BA doesn't play games. He dropped his first f-bomb when interviewing for the Cardinals job within 5 minutes. Cussed b/c drinks were late.
— Lars Anderson (@LarsAnderson71) May 30, 2016
6. BA loves fashion b/c he was poor growing up. If you've ever struggled, then BA is your guy.
— Lars Anderson (@LarsAnderson71) May 30, 2016
7. What coach tells you he's throwing deep at least 6 times a game? BA is the most aggressive coach in the NFL, and players love that.
— Lars Anderson (@LarsAnderson71) May 30, 2016
8. This is a small thing, but BA always ask me about my wife and kid. Always. He's just a good guy.
— Lars Anderson (@LarsAnderson71) May 30, 2016
9. You will never meet anyone easier to talk to than BA. Which is a good thing when you are writing his book.
— Lars Anderson (@LarsAnderson71) May 30, 2016
10. If there was one NFL coach sitting at the end of the bar, you'd want it to be BA. He's the funny uncle who buys you beer.
