The Arizona Cardinals are making more upgrades the fan experience at University of Phoenix Stadium, this time focusing on the stadiums sound system. From the team:
Starting with the Arizona Cardinals 2016 preseason opener in August, fans will experience a completely enhanced and upgraded audio experience at University of Phoenix Stadium.
The new system will represent the most modern and state-of-the-art technology available and provide fans with an unparalleled level of sound crispness and audio clarity.
The design is meant to be a way to create an equal listening experience for all fans, no matter where their seat is located in the stadium.
The new design will feed sound to the entire stadium at once - from the top to bottom - thereby eliminating delays, echoes, and distortion.
The Arizona Cardinals continue to upgrade not only the product on the field, but the experience of going to a game in Glendale, as they funded the upgrades out of their own pocket.
I am not one to frequent the stadium, so I have never noticed it, but Kent Somers had some interesting tweets:
#azcardinals upgrading sound at UofP stadium. Much needed. Biggest complaint i heard from fans over years.

#azcardinals aren’t saying how much new sound system is costing. First time ever someone buying new system didn’t brag about the cost.
