The Arizona Cardinals are expected to have a good season. They are expected to be Super Bowl contenders. When it comes to betting, Vegas is all in with the Cardinals now, too.
An ESPN article notes Cantor Technology released the lines for all the games from Week 1-16 for the 2016 season (You can't bet on Week 17 now. Week 17 is way to unpredictable between teams tanking, resting and those competing for playoff spots and seeding). Vegas favors the Cardinals in 12 of those 15 games.
They open the favorite in their first seven games, favored by as little as 1 (against the Patriots and the Seahawks at home) and as many as nine (at home versus Tampa Bay).
The first game they are underdogs is in Carolina in Week 8. The Panthers are favored by 3.5 points.
The other two games they are not favored are in Minnesota (Vikings -1.5) and in Seattle (-3.5).
Their biggest spread? That would be at home against the 49ers, where they are favored by 10.5 points. I guess Vegas doesn't expect much from San Francisco this year.
