Two more Arizona Cardinals players will be revealed tonight Wed June 29, 2016 on the NFL 100. After some chatter on whether or not Carson Palmer would make the list, it seems like it is all but assured he will, barring something like David Johnson finding his way in the top 20 for a part time rookie season.
Palmer will be making his first appearance on the NFL 100, after a career year in 2015 that saw him set career highs in yards (4,671) touchdowns (35) and a career low in interceptions over a full season (11). What Palmer did in 2015 cannot be understated, while the end was not what Arizona Cardinals fans had hoped, what he did during the regular season was the greatest single season by a quarterback in the history of the franchise.
Making another appearance on the NFL 100 though, will be none other than Patrick Peterson. Peterson has been on the NFL top 100 four other times in his career, 55th in 2012, 33rd in 2013, 22nd in 2014 and 19th last year. He continues to ascend his way up every "best of" list on the internet, and deservedly so, as he finally put together the "shutdown" corner type of season Arizona Cardinals fans have been waiting for.
Check out the NFL 100 list tonight on NFL Network at 8pm Eastern Standard Time.
