He wasn't a Cardinal long, but he brought veteran leadership and toughness to the team, even at 35 years of age.
Cory Redding announced on his Twitter account today that after 13 years, he is officially retiring from the National Football League.
I'm leaving the game I've played for 23 years. Thanks to the teams I played for, coaches, teammates, fans and my family 4 their support!
— Cory Redding Sr. (@CRedd90) June 29, 2016
Redding is turning 36 this season, and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 3rd round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
Cardinals fans will probably remember his best moment in Cardinal red being this fumble recovery for a touchdown in their Week 16 rout of the Packers.
We here at Revenge of the Birds want to wish Cory the best of luck on his next endeavor. Have any other favorite Cory Redding moments from his time in Arizona or his time in the NFL? Let us know in the comments!
