One thing about the NFL is there will always be a debate about who is overrated or underrated. Fans never feel like their favorite players are rated properly by NFL experts or writers. Hell, some fans think this site doesn't rate players correctly.
Well, Pete Prisco of CBS Sports is giving his most overrated player of every team and for the Arizona Cardinals he picked one that I know will divide the fan base 50/50.
Michael Floyd is the most overrated player on the Arizona Cardinals according to Pete Prisco, here's what Prisco has to say: "He caught 52 passes with six touchdowns, but the talent is there for so much more. He did come on late in the season with several 100-yard games, but this is an important year for Floyd with so many talented young receivers waiting their turn to do more."
I have written, as well as others, that Michael Floyd's play and production has not been equal to his draft slot. He's been a tease for years, waiting to break out, putting together dominant stretches then disappearing for games at a time.
So to me, Prisco's pick makes sense.
Pete Prisco will write tomorrow on who is the most underrated player on the Arizona Cardinals? My guess, Jared Veldheer.
